~~The Department of History at Texas Tech University seeks applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in modern European history to begin August 2015. We seek to attract an outstanding teacher and scholar in the history of Europe since 1789 in any geographic and/or thematic area of expertise. The successful candidate will teach the second half of the History of Western Civilization sequence as well as advanced undergraduate courses in her/his area of expertise. The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
