Teaching responsibilities will include world history surveys, and periodic upper-division elective offerings. We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in East or South Asia. Tennessee State University is a historically black university located in Nashville, TN.
Qualifications include an earned Ph.D. in History by time of appointment, superior teaching ability, and scholarly potential.
