Visiting Assistant Professor, Early Modern and Modern Britain The Department of History at the College of Wooster invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professorship in British history beginning August 2015. We welcome candidates with expertise and the capacity to teach courses about Britain from the Tudor-Stuart period to the present. The successful candidate will teach a two-semester survey in British history, and Western Civilization since 1600 or Global history as well as topical courses in her/his field of expertise. She/he will also supervise undergraduate research in the Independent Study Program, the College’s program of faculty-mentored undergraduate research. Ph.D. preferred; advanced ABD will be considered.
