The History Department of Bridgewater State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in sub-Saharan or South Asian history, to begin fall 2015. Duties include teaching upper-division courses in the area of specialization, and lower-division courses in World history; advising undergraduate and graduate students; and participating in departmental and university decision-making processes and activities.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in History required
Teaching experience and evidence of scholarly activity required.

They should also have an ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning, the ability to work collaboratively, evidence of scholarly activity, and a commitment to public higher education.
