British Empire after 1750. Tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning August 2015. A specialist in the British Empire after 1750 with a subspecialty in Africa or South Asia is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department’s growing commitment to transnational studies. Ph.D. required at time of employment.
Teaching responsibilities include lower-division surveys, upper-division courses, as well as graduate seminars. The teaching load is 2/2. Research funding for new faculty is available. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and publications.
