The Department of History seeks a qualified teacher-scholar for a full-time, one-year position in African Studies or the African Diaspora. Responsibilities include teaching survey and advanced courses in African history, culture, and related areas. Specific courses include: AFRI 222 (African Cultural Traditions) and AFRI 312 (the African Diaspora). The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate relevant teaching experience. Teaching load will be fifteen hours per semester or equivalent.
