Executive Director is council's administrative leader responsible for delivering its mission: nurturing, promoting, and supporting the humanities throughout Missouri. Executive Director is council's primary program planner, spokesperson, and fundraiser building productive, creative, and diverse collaborative relationships through its established and future programs and on-going competitive grants.
Education: Minimum of Masters degree; humanities-based discipline preferred
Experience: Minimum five years of non-profit management leadership; experience in financial systems and development work

• Must respect rural and urban settings
• Strong and respectful interpersonal skills and unquestionable ethics
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Office in St. Louis MO.
