The University of Toledo Department of History invites applicants for a full-time faculty position at the rank of lecturer. This is a teaching position with an adjustable load of five classes per semester: 5/5 per academic year. Candidates will principally teach survey courses in World history in addition to upper division courses in their area of specialization. Key areas of research specialization and teaching that we are seeking include Women's and Gender History, African History, and Modern European history.
The selected applicant must have the Ph.D. completed by August 2014. Review of applications will begin on June 15th and continue until the position is filled. The start date for this position is August 18, 2014.
