Muhlenberg College invites applications for a full-time one-year visiting assistant professor in History and Africana Studies to begin August 2014. We seek a specialist in either African-American or African history, with the ideal candidate able to teach both. Teaching would include our topical Introduction to History as well as advanced courses. The successful candidate must have a commitment to excellent teaching in the liberal arts college context and an active research program. Review of credentials will begin immediately and the position will remain open until filled.
