Dickinson College’s American Studies Department invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting faculty position beginning August 2014. Areas of specialization should include critical race theory and US cultural history. Candidates must have teaching experience, and be prepared to teach core courses in the major, including Introduction to American Studies, an upper-level seminar on the history of racialization in the United States, senior capstone research courses, and a topics course in the candidate’s area of expertise. Applicants must have Ph.D. in hand; Ph.D. in American Studies strongly preferred.
