Modern European History. Lecturer Position. Non-tenure-track appointment beginning August 1, 2014. Ph.D. required. One-year contract with possibility of renewal for one additional year.
The Department of History at the University of Tennessee seeks a lecturer with teaching and research expertise in modern European history, 18th century to present. All fields will be considered. The lecturer appointed will be responsible for teaching 3 upper division courses and one iteration of a large-format Western Civilization survey (120 students) over the course of the academic year.
