The Native American Studies Program and the History Department at Dartmouth College seek applications for a visiting scholar in Native American history to teach two courses either during fall term 2014 or during winter/spring terms 2015. One of the courses must focus on the history of American Indians from contact with Europeans to about 1800 or the period from 1800 to the Citizenship Act of 1924. The second course can be an elective of the visitor's choosing that will complement (but not duplicate) our regular course offerings.
