The University is seeking to appoint an outstanding individual as Associate Professor in Resource Economics to broaden and deepen research in the application of economic models to marine, terrestrial or other environmental issues.
The Associate Professor will conduct high quality collaborative research leading to scholarly publications in resource economics, generate external competitive research funding, contribute to teaching, course design, development and ongoing evaluation, provide effective supervision for honours and postgraduate students, build effective working relationships and foster excellence in research and teaching.
Applicants will have a PhD and a substantial record of research, commitment to high quality teaching and effective research training, and demonstrated success in course design, development and evaluation.
The appointment is continuing and located in Hobart. Travel to other campuses is required.
