The School of Arts and Humanities (A&H)
at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Art History, with an emphasis on Chinese Art History. A PhD or other terminal degree in appropriate field is required. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to research and publishing, undergraduate and graduate teaching, interdisciplinary education and research, community outreach, and professional academic service (including collaboration and interaction with museums). Appointment will begin September 1, 2014.
The School offers an interdisciplinary program built on four interrelated areas: Arts & Technology (including Emerging Media and Communication), Literary Studies, Historical Studies, and Aesthetic Studies. UT Dallas is a dynamic, growing research institution with a diverse student body and a strong research faculty. The School is committed to expanding and enhancing its program in Chinese art, history, culture and literature. Salary competitive.
