Brandeis University announces a new faculty position, the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Chair in Jewish Education Research, to begin in Fall 2014.
The new chair will be shared between the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Center for Studies in Jewish Education and an appropriate academic department. The chair will pursue a program of research in Jewish education, participate actively in the intellectual community, and teach two courses per year. Candidates should hold a doctorate, have a record of scholarship and a rich research agenda, and have experience with Jewish educational settings. Ideal candidates will have a research interest in the study of learning and learners.
First consideration will be given to applications received by January 3, 2014.
