AFRICAN AMERICAN HISTORY. The Department of History at the University of Memphis seeks an outstanding scholar for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Twentieth century African American History. Ph.D. in History required by the time of appointment. Successful candidates will possess a strong research agenda and good teaching skills.
Initial review of applications will begin on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, and may continue until the position is filled.
