The Department of Government and Politics seeks to fill a position in International Relations and Comparative Politics at the level of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load of courses in International Relations and Comparative Politics, undertake significant research/professional activities, and actively engage in department and school service.
PhD in Political Science or related field with specialization in International Relations and Comparative Politics. Thematic expertise is open. Regional expertise is open to any region outside of Europe and Russia.
Part time or full time teaching experience in International Relations and/or Comparative Politics.
Skills and Abilities:
Proven ability to effectively teach, research, and serve in a college or university setting. Interest and ability to effectively support the mission of a liberal arts college and work closely with a diverse student population is preferred.
May be required to teach day or evening classes and/or online classes.
