The Department of History invites applications for one limited term position (July 1, 2014-June 30, 2016) at the Assistant Professor level in:

Jewish Studies.

HIS-JS

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in History, a strong record of scholarly publication, and university-level teaching experience in Jewish Studies.  The successful applicant will also be Director of the Jewish Studies Program, a role for which dynamic leadership abilities are essential. In addition to teaching core History courses in Jewish Studies, preferred applicants must be qualified to teach History courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in at least one of the following areas: Medieval Europe; Early Modern Europe; International History.
