The Department of Cultural, Gender and Global Studies seeks a creative leader with administrative experience and an established record of scholarly research and teaching excellence for the position of Department Chair to begin July 1, 2014. Tenured position, competitive salary and benefits. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a discipline that is suitable for tenure in the department and currently hold tenured Associate or Full Professor rank. Areas of research specialization are open.
The Department of Cultural, Gender, and Global Studies is a recently formed department with 8 faculty and approximately 200 majors in 3 B.A. programs: Global Studies, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Women’s Studies. The department also has minors in each program as well as certificates at the graduate level (Women’s Studies) and undergraduate level (Global Connections, Non-Profit Management).
