Penn State Harrisburg, School of Humanities, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of English Composition and Director of Composition beginning August 15, 2014. Requires a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition or English with specialization in Rhetoric and Composition. Demonstrated excellence in college teaching of at least 2-4 years and 2 years of experience in coordinating first and second year composition courses. Candidates should also have a promising research and publication agenda and a commitment to university service and outreach. As Director of Composition, duties include training faculty to develop and deliver continuous quality programs in Rhetoric and Composition courses across the curriculum.
