The History Department of Indiana University and the Journal of American History seek a visiting assistant professor/assistant editor for a 2-year, non-tenure-track appointment beginning August 1, 2014. Ph.D. in history required. Specialization within U.S. History. The position includes halftime teaching in the department and halftime work as an Assistant Editor at the JAH whose main responsibility will be managing the book reviews.
