New Jersey City University invites application from candidates for a tenure-track position to begin Fall 2014. The successful candidate could be from the Humanities, STEM fields, Social Sciences, or the Arts.

The successful candidate should have experience in a university Honors Program and a commitment to promoting and developing the interdisciplinary Honors Program. Experience teaching a diverse student population, experience in interdisciplinary teaching, and experience extending education beyond the classroom (e.g., city as school) are preferred.
- Teaching the equivalent of 24 semester hours per year which includes teaching in the Honors Program and in an academic department.
- Engage in scholarly research.
- Department responsibilities include committee participation, curriculum development and student advisement. College and University service is also expected.
- Terminal degree at time of hire and active research in the humanities, STEM fields, social sciences, or the Arts.
