Position Description
Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses (12 hours/4 courses per semester) in History; conducting research in area(s) of expertise; and performing departmental service.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or A.B.D. (with Ph.D. by June 2014) in Medieval History, or History with an emphasis in Medieval history. (Degree must be from a regionally accredited or internationally accredited/government certified university.)
- Experience teaching at college/university level as a graduate assistant, instructor or above
- Demonstrated scholarly promise
- Additional areas of teaching expertise to complement departmental strengths
- Demonstrated commitment to collegiality within the University community
- Demonstrated commitment to working with multicultural populations and an awareness of issues affecting women and minorities

Compensation: Commensurate with education and experience.
