British History Probationary Appointment
The Department of History at Brock University invites applications for a probationary tenure-track appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor in British History. Historians with a focus on empire/colonialism are particularly encouraged to apply. The appointment begins July 1, 2014.
Applicants should have a completed Ph.D. and evidence of research and teaching excellence. The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all levels, including first-year undergraduate and M.A. courses.
Applicants must submit a letter of application accompanied by a curriculum vitae, a research plan, and evidence of successful university-level teaching. In addition, candidates must arrange for the submission of three letters of reference. Candidates may be contacted at a later date for additional materials.
