China. The Department of History at the University of Delaware invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in the history of China. We are committed to hiring a scholar who shows exceptional promise as a future intellectual leader. In addition to pursuing an ambitious research agenda, the appointee will be expected to enhance the department’s course offerings in Asian and world history and play an active role in the College of Arts and Sciences’ interdisciplinary Asian Studies program. The successful candidate will join a department of thirty-four faculty with an extensive record of high-quality scholarship. This position is crucial to advancing the Department’s and College’s long-term commitment to globalizing its curriculum at both the graduate and the undergraduate level.
