Widener University seeks a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor in modern Western European history (specialization open). The successful candidate is expected to offer western civilization and/or world civilization surveys as well as upper division courses in area(s) of specialization. The appointment begins August 2014. Widener is a teaching institution with a 3/4 teaching load (and the possibility of periodic released time). Applicants must have a Ph.D. by the time of appointment. Deadline for completed application: December 1.
