The History Department at Eastern Connecticut State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in public/digital history to begin in August 2014. The successful candidate must be able to teach survey courses in American History, upper division courses in his/her area of specialization, and courses in the university’s Liberal Arts Core. A commitment to undergraduate teaching and mentoring in a small, public liberal arts college, a willingness to work with interdisciplinary programs, and evidence of scholarly potential required. Teaching experience and Ph.D. in American History or American Studies preferred; ABD close to completion will be considered.
