History/Social Studies Education: visiting professor appointment at Greensboro College, to begin August 2014. Possibly renewable. MA in History required. Ph.D. in History or other field by August 2014 or ABD with completion by May 2015, preferred. Secondary teaching experience preferable. Teaching responsibilities will include Western Civilization I and II surveys, upper level courses in non-American history, a course in secondary social studies pedagogy, and supervision of field experiences and student teachers. There are also opportunities to teach in the college’s honors program as well as to develop new interdisciplinary/cross-listed courses.
