The Department of History at Wright State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in African-American history at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates should hold (by August 2014) a Ph.D. in history (preferred) or an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in a relevant area. The successful candidate will teach 5 classes per year including a one-semester survey of African-American history, upper-level and graduate classes, and classes in the African and African-American Studies Program.
