Seeking a candidate in Asian history with a teaching/research specialty in history of China. Period of specialization open but candidate must be able to teach modern China. Teaching load is 4/4 including introductory survey classes. This may be reduced for candidates with considerable research potential. Georgia Regents University, a comprehensive state-supported research university, will soon open a Confucius Institute in partnership with Shanghai University of Traditional Medicine. Ph.D. in history preferred, ABD considered.
