The Department of History seeks an assistant professor, tenure-track, in the field of the history of the United States and the World. The successful candidate will be expected to teach a survey course in the history of United States foreign relations, upper-level courses in their broad areas of specialization, either half of the United States history survey course, and appropriate graduate courses. The Department and the University emphasize excellence in teaching as well as scholarship. Ph.D. must be in hand by the time of appointment.
