The Wichita State University Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Modern European History since 1815, with an emphasis in continental Europe (excludes England, France or Russia). Course assignments will include the second half of World Civilizations and upper-division European History surveys. Upper division courses and graduate courses are in research area. The successful candidate will be able to offer courses on Fascism. Three course load per semester.
The university seeks individuals who have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching, research and scholarship.
