AFRICAN-AMERICAN HISTORY. Tenure-track assistant professor to begin August 2014. The person hired is expected to have a research specialization in African-American History, with the ability to teach upper division and graduate courses in his or her area of specialization. Responsibilities also include teaching sections of lower-division U.S. History Survey. Ph.D. required at time of employment. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and publications.
