Tenure-track assistant professorship in history to begin August 2014. Specialist in Digital Humanities to take a leadership role in new research and curricular initiatives. Strong preference for United States history, history of the Americas, or thematic fields such as environmental history that will complement existing departmental strengths. Teaching load of nine hours per semester includes courses for the core curriculum as well as upper-division courses in Digital Humanities and History. Ph.D. in hand and evidence of excellent teaching and scholarly potential required. Review of applications will begin 8 November 2013.
