Assistant Professor in Global Development

The Department of International Studies in the School of Global and International Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, Indiana University, is seeking to fill a tenure-track assistant professor position in Global Development. Candidates should be engaged in research from a social science perspective on international financial institutions, aid agencies, humanitarian emergencies, NGOs, development theory and practice, poverty, social movements, or comparative or international aspects of social, political, or economic development. Research on a locality or region, such as Brazil or Southeast Asia, may also be considered if linked to global processes or institutions. Applicants should have their PhD in hand by August 2014.
