The Department of Sociology in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles, CA) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Quantitative Social Demography, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2014. We seek applicants who are trained in quantitative methods and do empirically grounded, theoretically innovative research. Candidates must have their PhD at the time of appointment. Qualified applicants should be prepared to teach Demographic Methods and Social Demography.
