Florida State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the history of the Atlantic world, sixteenth to early eighteenth centuries. The areas of specialization are open. Successful candidates will be expected to work with the department’s diverse undergraduate and graduate students and supervise PhD candidates. Finalists will be interviewed at the 2014 AHA conference. The appointment will begin in fall 2014; PhD must be in hand by start of appointment.
