Nineteenth-Century U.S. History
The Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in nineteenth-century U.S. history. Research field is open, with special consideration given to those whose work is in Native American or African-American History. Teaching responsibilities with a teaching load of two courses per semester will include the U.S. Survey to 1865, courses on the Civil War and Reconstruction and courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. PhD must be in hand by start date, August 16, 2014.
