Baylor seeks to fill the following faculty position in the department of History. TRACKING ID#: F009331 POSITION: Assistant Professor of History QUALIFICATIONS: The Department of History seeks a specialist in French History to teach both undergraduate and graduate courses in this area. Applicants should be ABD or hold a Ph.D. in History of Early Modern France, Modern France, or Francophone World-French Colonies/Atlantic World and should be able to show evidence of outstanding teaching along with potential for scholarly publication. RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will be expected to offer undergraduate survey courses in World History as well as advanced undergraduate and graduate courses in areas of specialization. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and pursue a rigorous program of research and publication in area of specialization.
