The Department of Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University seeks a feminist scholar, at the rank of Assistant Professor, whose research focuses broadly on feminist economics, political economies, and/or globalization. Scholars doing interdisciplinary work on critical development studies, environmental studies, ethnographies of globalization, immigration and/or migration, women’s and gender health issues, and/or economic formations of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity and nation are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from scholars doing research in and across any geographic region. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. While a Ph.D. in Women's, and/or Gender and Sexuality Studies is preferred, we welcome applications from related fields. The appointment will begin in fall 2014.
The Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Department offers an undergraduate major and minor, M.A., Ph.D., and a graduate minor.
