The History Department at Providence College invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Modern British history (including British Empire) beginning fall 2014. Competence to teach in the Development of Western Civilization program as part of regular teaching load is required. Experience in interdisciplinary and/or team-teaching is desirable. Areas of specialization open. PhD (at time of appointment) required.
