Pending budgetary approval, the Africana Studies Program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, invites applications for two full-time lecturer positions to begin January 1, 2014. Teaching responsibilities include introductory survey courses in African and African American Studies. Ph.D. (preferred) or Master's (required) in a humanities or social sciences discipline. One-year contract with the potential for renewal. Review of applications will begin on August 30, 2013, and continue until the position is filled.
