The Department of History at Texas A&M University seeks an outstanding scholar in the Atlantic World at the rank of associate professor. The appointment begins September 2014. [All geographic, chronological, and thematic specializations will be considered, especially those complementing existing strengths.] The successful candidate, with Ph.D. in hand, will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, recruit and train exceptional graduate students, and participate in university and professional affairs.
