The Department of History at Texas A&M University seeks an outstanding scholar at the rank of associate professor. The appointment begins September 2014. All applicants engaged in the study of Latinas/os throughout the Americas in any geographic, chronological, and thematic specialization will be enthusiastically considered, especially those who complement existing areas of strength. The successful candidate, with Ph.D. in hand, will maintain an ambitious, productive research agenda, teach two courses per semester, recruit and train exceptional graduate students, and participate in university and professional affairs.
