The Department of Political Science at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured position in the global politics of development, including but not limited to global political economy, inequality and social movements, migration and remittances, foreign aid, the global south, and the post-colonial condition. The rank is open and will depend on qualifications. We are especially interested in applicants with an interdisciplinary research orientation and an analytic focus on actors other than the state. The successful candidate will contribute to a new interdisciplinary major in global studies and will teach one or more core courses including an introductory course on either global political economy or global governance. Candidates with a Ph.D. in disciplines other than political science are welcome to apply and will be given full consideration but should understand that the appointment will be in the Department of Political Science.
