Asian American History. Assistant Professor, Tenure Track. Anticipated start date, September 1, 2014. The Department of History at Princeton University invites applications from scholars who specialize in Asian American History. The time period and field of specialization are open. We are interested in those who work on the global contexts of trans-Pacific migrations to the Americas, as well as those who work on the legal, political, economic, and cultural histories of peoples of Asian descent living in the Americas. The candidate should be prepared to offer an undergraduate lecture survey course on Asian American History, as well as upper level undergraduate courses and graduate seminars. Review of files will begin on October 1st 2013, but applications will be considered until the department chooses to close the search.
