The Department of Near Eastern Studies at Princeton University in conjunction with the Program in Judaic Studies invites applications for a tenure-track position in Israel Studies to begin September 1, 2014. Discipline and specialization are open. We seek candidates trained in history, literature, politics, or other relevant fields of the humanities and social sciences. Appropriate fields of specialization include the history of the state of Israel and its formation, the history of the Zionist movement, Israeli politics, Israeli literature, Hebrew literature of the pre-state period, or other aspects of Israeli culture.
Rank: Assistant Professor, PhD in hand or expected. Position will be open until filled.
