The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, invites qualified academics with the following specializations to apply for tenure-track positions as Assistant Professors in the Division of Sociology:

1. Sociology of Migration

2. Economic Sociology

Candidates should possess a Ph.D. in Sociology (Social Anthropology will also be considered) and proven records in teaching and research. Additional expertise in Quantitative Social Research or Urban Sociology will receive priority of consideration and the successful candidates will be expected to teach in English at both undergraduate and graduate levels.

The Division of Sociology strongly emphasizes effective teaching and encourages significant research work. The thrust of the Division’s teaching and research is international and comparative, with special focus on the analysis of social change in Asian societies.
