The Department of History at New Mexico State University invites applications for a tenure track assistant professorship in the history of Mexico. The successful candidate will be prepared to teach survey courses in Latin American history and upper-division courses on Mexico. We are also seeking candidates interested in developing innovative courses addressing one or more of the four themes described on our Web page (http://www.nmsu.edu/~histdept/gradprog.html). Ph.D. required by starting date, August 2014.
