The Department of Communication (http://www.loyola.edu/communication) invites applications for a non-tenure track, full-time Visiting Affiliate Assistant Professor or Instructor of Advertising. Candidates should possess a Master's degree or higher in an appropriate field and be able to teach introductory and skills-oriented courses in advertising as well as Introduction to Communicaton. Successful teaching experience at the university level and professional experience is desirable but not required. The successful candidate will be expected to teach four undergraduate courses per semester, attend department meetings, and support the university's Catholic/ Jesuit mission.
The Department of Communication offers undergraduate specializations in Advertising/Public Relations, Digital Media, and Journalism. Courses are taught in state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories.
